Dick (58) – allergic asthma/hay fever

Complaints:
I was treated for very severe complaints stemming from my allergy to cats, certain foods and pollen. These complaints consisted of severe eczema rashes on my skin and frequent significant shortness of breath and asthma. In conventional healthcare I had found no remedy for years (apart from medication that temporarily fought the worst symptoms).

Progress:
I was quite sceptical, but fairly quickly I noticed an enormous improvement or relief of my complaints. My skin was normal again, free of eczema, and I had considerably more breath when breathing (so that I no longer needed to use my medication). Even the hospital where I am treated found that my lung function had improved substantially, by 25%, after I had undergone six treatments. I am very surprised and happy with this result.

General experience:
The treatments are given in a pleasant, relaxed manner. A clear explanation is also given with each treatment. Everything radiates a great deal of professionalism, inventiveness and friendliness that I really experienced as very pleasant. I even looked forward to the next treatment!

Mieke (46) – mental complaints

Complaints:
I had many complaints related to my hormone balance, such as mood swings, insomnia and low spirits. Sometimes that was really very extreme.

Progress:
After some seven acupuncture treatments (followed by taking herbal preparations) I notice that I am doing much better. I do still have some hormonal fluctuations, but their effects are now much less extreme and last much shorter. Truly wonderful!

General experience:
Aron is kind, works very professionally, listens well, gives good explanations of everything, keeps precise track of the development of your complaints (on his computer) so that he can respond to it during the treatment, and inspires a lot of confidence. They are pleasant, enjoyable treatments.

I came to Greenleaf acupuncture with chronic pain in my knee. My knee was also swollen. Now, five treatments later, I am pain-free. Aron is not only a skilled acupuncturist but also a kind and relaxed person.

Mies (43) – hay fever

I went to Aron because of an involuntarily twitching eyelid that had been bothering me for months. During the intake my hay fever also came up, and Aron treated me for that as well.

First I had a number of acupuncture treatments. That did not yet bring any improvement. However, after I additionally received Chinese herbs from Aron for my hay fever, those complaints decreased immediately and over time even disappeared entirely.

The blinking of the eyelid slowly diminished during the treatments. After the last treatment I was not yet completely rid of it, but now, a few months later, the complaints are gone.

I experienced the treatments as calm and pleasant. I felt at ease. It was the first time for me that I had consulted an acupuncturist, but should I ever get pain or other complaints again, I will certainly consult Aron once more.

Jon (57) and Sientje (21) – hay fever

After various courses of treatment for her allergy/hay fever, my daughter had pretty much given up hope and had to take ever stronger medication to suppress the allergy. The result was regular nosebleeds and swollen eyes despite the medication. She had read that acupuncture was supposed to work well against hay fever and found the Greenleaf website. She could be seen almost immediately and, because I also have hay fever (though to a lesser degree) and she was nervous about the needles, we went together. Aron comes across as very knowledgeable and is very pleasant to deal with. But not only were they quite enjoyable sessions, Sientje was visibly less dependent on her hay fever medication after the first treatment and completely off it after a few sessions. I too had hardly any trouble with my hay fever almost immediately and, because Aron had already indicated at the intake that he can treat several problems simultaneously, I just made a list! Among other things, I had had trouble with my knee and a tendon in my foot for years, which meant I could no longer run, so Aron included those each session. During the first treatment I felt a tingling in my foot around the tendon in question. I didn't notice much else, but the result is that I dared to take up training again and that I completed the 2017 edition of the Dam tot Damloop on 17 September! In short, very pleasant sessions, good support of the treatment with herbal preparations, quick first results and further build-up and, not to forget, Aron's tasty shakes all together make for a very positive and recommendable experience. Aron certainly delivers what he claims!

Maxime (30) – back pain

Complaints: back pain, elbow pain

Each time there was already an improvement after 1 or 2 treatments! Aron made a good impression on me. He is friendly towards clients and knows what he is doing. He knows a lot about his profession. The treatments worked effectively for me.

Pita (36) – pain/phantom pain

After a traumatic forearm amputation I suffered a lot from nerve and phantom pain. Looking for an alternative to large amounts of painkillers, I ended up at Greenleaf Acupuncture through word of mouth. The therapist Aron Ebbing immediately managed to put me at ease despite my fear of needles. To be honest, I was initially sceptical about the results that could be achieved, yet after my first treatment I already felt a direct reduction of the pain in my stump. Over the course of the treatments the pain was structurally reduced, something I am very happy with. I will therefore certainly recommend acupuncture at Greenleaf!

Mark (41) – hay fever

I came to you in mid-2017 because I had been living with hay fever complaints for almost 35 years (I am now almost 40). I had actually already tried everything except acupuncture!

To be honest, I expected nothing at all and was very sceptical about acupuncture... I had actually embraced hay fever as something that would be part of me for the rest of my life.

After the first treatment I did not notice an improvement immediately, but I decided to continue the treatment anyway. After a total of 6 treatments I noticed that my complaints had practically disappeared, and to this day I have not had any complaints again (I had eye, nose and throat complaints).

Your space is a pleasant one to be treated in and I always felt at ease. Super professional and hygienic. Your prices are very reasonable.

I recommend your practice to everyone.

I had had hay fever for years against which no medication really helped. Every day I got up with a fluey, unfit feeling. After a tip about acupuncture, I got rid of the complaints entirely this summer.

The treatments took place in a relaxed atmosphere and Aron is very flexible with times for making an appointment. If repeat treatments are needed next hay fever season, I will certainly return to Greenleaf.
